1.letgo:togiveupanideaoranattitude,orcontrolofsth.放弃，摒弃（想法、态度或控制）。例如：

·Itstimetoletthepastgo.该忘掉过去了。

·Itstimetoletgoofthepast.该忘掉过去了。

→letitgo(atthat):tosayordonomoreaboutsth.不再多说（或多做）；就到此为止。例如：
